A Day with Rainbow

Here are just some prints distributed during the dinner. Wonderful journey Wee Fan & Rainee had. Before the actual day upon confirmation, Rainee had been asking me to take care of my body so that I can be very healthy to shoot her wedding LOL. Though it was her joke but I kinda like it. When we meet, we have already know each other so well. Though we do not have time to have our dinner that night but it went very smoothly. Kinda like the 15 minutes pre-wedding shots we had in the golf course! haha... well I told them the 15 minutes coverage is equivalent to a full day shots in a bridal house. Well it is true, because we clicked so well. Rainee, also call herself "Rainbow" as her nick name... and so I used the theme "A Day with Rainbow". Good memory. I will never forget you both. We had a really nice moment while shooting Rainee with the red curtain. LOL... 

Gospel of the Dawn

It a great moment where Christophe and Coni had their memorable wedding in Rasa Ria Shangri-la Kota Kinabalu. Once of the most challenging request made by Coni was everything must be candid and no poses. It was not of a big problem since that was what I usually do. Really love this shot taken during the golden hours of the day. My favorite sunset shot. :) Everything was great and I do agree on Coni's idea. Thanks for having me to make this sunset shot possible. There you go, this is for you, Christophe and Coni.... hope to see you again. 

Lovable Journey

Ying Chao & June had their pre-wedding picture taken in the Tailors College, where they first met each other. Though both of them were dating someone else that time but God had made them together in the end. After 8 years of relationship, their love was somewhat inert and practical. I guess this pre-wedding session had resurrected many feelings which had forgotten for a long time and I believed that through this small little process it could bring a deeper feeling within them. Very excited to finish this series soon. Will be shooting their actual day next month. 

The Voice of Jennifer

Every portrait is something unique to me. When Jennifer engaged me, she told me that she wanted something with freeflow and joy. Of course as usual, the more I understand Jennifer, the more I began to develop the theme for her. She told me that she wanted to use these pictures to cure a friends heart, and later after the shoot I found that these picture were to cure her heart. Before she confirm the assignment, I asked her a question, "do you think that pictures can heal ones soul?", and she replied "yes". We began to develop a mutual understanding between us and most important is the trust we developed and therefore this series was a success. 

A Dreamy Wedding

Red hot Sher Li married to quiet Kar Heng. After finished their pre-wedding, today its finally the big day. We have known each other very well already so all communication was smooth and we all know the pace. This is one of the most simple wedding I have ever shoot. Sher Li focus on details so we have 2 shooters covering this small wedding with only 9 tables during the luncheon. To be honest, regardless how large the wedding is, there is always something to cover. And I have more time cover some detail shots like this. Really love the pics that was shoot today. Sher Li, I enjoyed the process for arranging the wedding for you. We had lots of fun. Hope you continue to find your happiness. :)

Love In Eden

Finally my dream came true, to take a pic of a couple with the cows. LOL... Funny dream isn't it. Thanks to Vincent and Erin who flew all the way from Hong Kong specially to have me take their pre-wedding portrait. I found out that both Vincent and Erin is a christian through Facebook, as a christian, I am sure that the title Love in Eden will fit the theme of the day. They are such a funny couple who loves to play around and make fun of each other. Hope to see them some day and hopefully will fly over to their wedding day to take their actual wedding reception. 

A Day with Love and Friends

This was one of the most memorable wedding have ever encountered. You will be pleased to know Chen Yin and Ching Yoke's friends, they are just awesome. Ching Yoke cousins were very friendly to me and I was forced to drink during the dinner session and end up singing a song on stage. LOL Have you ever imagine a photographer singing with his camera? Everyone got so excited, by dwelling in their wedding, enjoying their moments together, I think I have done something extraordinary, which is to create something exciting for them. One of Ching Yoke's friend walked over told me that of so many photographers he has seen during weddings, I am the first who gave him such a strong impression. I guess because I am just crazy lol... right after the wedding dinner, we all hang out in Chen Yin's house and I took my instax to shoot some candit shots for their friends. They were all so excited, believe me, they are truly nice people. I felt glad.

A Smile In Paradise

 

A week after super heroes, Gregg and Jeamie had their casual beach wedding ceremony in beautiful Redang island. We took some pre-wedding shots in a beautiful morning. A day before the wedding, Gregg and Jeamie organized a casual dinner and they gather everyone together to present their wedding slideshow, some where sitting on the floor and some got a spot on the chairs, its like a camp fire. lol... I just love the way they appreciate the my slideshow, especially in a very casual manner. I was touched by their expressions. I hope they receive my message through the slides. 

A Day For Heroes

Here are some of the non-edited pictures of Gregg's and Jeamie's actual day. I have to say this was one of the funniest wedding that I have ever experienced. Gregg and Jeamie were so natural that my shutter was continuously shooting for the whole day. Now I have to edit almost 1,500 pictures that I have taken for the day. Gregg and Jeamie will always look for fun and Gregg loved Jeamie so naturally that thier love were so real to me. They made me believed that love is that simple; Its all about sharing, surprises, and natural commitment. I'm so happy for them. Thank you for having me covering their wedding day. The biggest highlight of this actual day were the super heroes that Gregg brought over which made the wedding so funny and entertaining. Gregg's parents came all the way from UK to witness their wedding day and they had never seen a wedding that was so fun!!

Love Song of Tranquil

What a tiring and fruitful trip to the cozy cameron highlands, one of the popular destination for many photographers. When I spoke about receiving this job to my follow photographers long time ago, they were wondering why I picked this place for a pre-wedding instead of doing it in local Kuala Lumpur. Since this was my first assignment to Cameron, it became very interesting indeed. I think I will be coming back one day and shoot something even more exciting. Besides the tree in the picture, it all look very window xp. LOL. I love this shot. Thanks to Chester and Deon for believing in my work so that everything can be taken to reflect the theme Love Song of Tranquil. Also many thanks to the "anti-motion sickness" pill the girls took during the trip LOL so that we could survive the narrow roads.
