Wedding Fair at Prince Hotel

Yes another wedding fair, lots of meet ups, lots of questions answered, lots of people came over to say hi. And funny Kevin Tan came over with the T Shirt written "Visionary". Yea he loves our team spirit, and thanks to Cliff and Brenda who came over for helping up. Its our first team work together before we will launch something new in our team. Life just keep me busy, workshops, shooting, teaming, new studio, and this wedding fair. People said that I am a miracle man, someone that can do multiple jobs at the same time. LOL.

Qiqi had her little one first before they do their wedding ceremony, and yes we will be covering their ceremony really soon. It was lovely to cover baby portraitures, if you asked me which kind of portraiture I love most, my answer will be newborn, but many bride didn't know that so they only decide to enquire after the baby is 1 month old hehe. However, love those lovely moments they had together. Handsome hubby, pretty mom, cute baby, nothing more to ask for. :)

Love Traveller - Siong Yuen & Kia Yong Pre-Wedding in Bali

Met up this lovely couple and they signed up on the spot for our Bali pre-wedding during a Wedding Fair in Mid Valley. Both of then have something unique within them, while Siong Yuan being the sentimental guy who felt so much for Kia Yong, and Kia Yong who is sensitive and loving and always being touched by him. Both of them have their own ideals. When I understood their ideals, and believe that one day these ideals might not be permanent, I then tried to create this theme of emotions to metaphor those values that set forth, making it permanent forever. Kia Yong gave Siong Yuen a nice watch, and Siong Yuen gave a traveller bag in return to her, inside with a letter and Siong Yuen wanted to travel around the world with her. On that moment, Kia Yong almost cried. It may be not important whether they have travelled around the world in the future, but for that moment, it is true.

Amiable Fellowship - Andrew & Chen Chin Pre-Wedding in Bali

Andrew and Chen Chin is one of the very natural couple I've ever met, they just understood the whole importance of the session and just being the most truthful self in front of me. The relationship we have build prior to the shoot was awesome, both Andrew and Chen Chin are able to cherish their relationship on that day, trying their best to enjoy the whole process and throw away all expectations, and just want to remember, how deep they appreciate each other. I guess the time was well spent for waking up that early for the shoot lol. They just have a lot of energy, no stress, its all just laughters. It is nice to see when both of them receive the pictures, the smile in their faces, knowing their true emotions had been captured and are able to remember it for the rest of their lives. I indeed felt meaningful that day.

Love Illusionist - Josh & Rachel Pre-Wedding in Bali

The love of Josh and Rachel is rather a unique one, Josh being the man in the house, while Rachel being the submissive one always listen to Josh, though their relationship is quite long and always had a little of arguments, but inside of them are filled with inert kind of love. Rachel seemed to be a girl who has lots of imaginations and dreams about the definition of wedding, to her a wedding is like a dream coming truth, married with a guy of her dream. While Josh being the rational one does know how to handle Rachel's dreamy ideas, in a humorous way. Though Josh can be a little stiff at first but the end of the day, with a little mix of some emotional element, in the very last moment, he expressed his true inner self, infront of Rachel, which I perceive to be valuable. That makes the end of the day, with Rachel kept admiring her own make up, and Josh got his unique artistic shots. Thanks to Chun Yew, business partner of Josh, to introduce to me this lovely couple.

Timeless Vow - Jone & Ferng Pre-Wedding in Bali

Jone and Ferng happened to be the first couple for this Bali trip, I still remember the night before the shooting we all went out for some fun and they kept me busy with some beer. Friends know that I do not drink much, but with Jone and Ferng I ended up having over 10 glasses. We waited for a long time in the bar to pay the bill but no one came to serve us so we decided to take a move without paying LOL, that was some kind of experience. The shot went quite fun, all the way with laughters. Both of them went addicted with shooting and eager to take a second series, and we found a slot available for their ROM, so I went to shoot their ROM too... crazy ones...stay tune for that story.

Purple Heart - Daniel & Ping Nee Wedding Day

The day when Daniel had called me up to book me for the wedding day, he mentioned that Ping Nee was a happy lady the whole day, I felt glad that they felt so deeply with my work. They even had many concerns on how to make my job better and ask me about weather to get a video guy for their day, Ping Nee had many concerns to make her photo the best one. However, I do wish that they hired a second shooter that day.

I was amazed with so many school teachers attended the wedding day, reason being Daniel's father is the headmaster of the school. And Daniel was well mannered, I guess it is because of his family background. Ping Nee is a mysterious bride who is hard to guess what she is thinking inside of her, some how I remember that how she look does not reflect how she felt inside her, I believe only Daniel in this world are able to translate her emotions. In humorous terms I named it foggy girl, hehe. Thanks for having me.

The Final Round - Bernard & Jolin Wedding Dinner at Kota Kinabalu

After 3 rounds of wedding days from KL to Penang and now in Kota Kinabalu. I have to say I am honored to be appointed for the actual day wedding photographer for both the Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu event. Both events are filled with sweetness. For so many weddings I have seen, their wedding in KL are the ones that cried the most; in was quite touching. There isn't a lot of crying scene for the Kota Kinabalu ones but having their wedding day in Sutera Habour is an awesome one. Love this place so much. We bumped into one of Bernard's hard core fans in between and they took some pictures together, for that moment I felt that I am quite fortunate to be given this chance by Bernard and Jolin to capture them, willingly hehe. Here we did our sunset portrait right before the wedding dinner begin and the scene was just amazing. Thanks for having me. :)
