Seemed that the trend is going nerdy nowadays and Teng How and Wei Tee wanted to have their wedding a colorful and happy one. Both spent few years together and we just get to know that Teng How actually know my cousin sister Tammy lol. This time I'm back to terasik brick house again to cover their actual wedding day. Something different from my previous session. All went well, love to capture beautiful Wei Tee, during the wedding Wei Tee asked how was her makeup and I answered that all brides will definitely look gorgeous during their big day, which is true. They were very nice to me and my cousinTammy was the MC for that night.

Food For Love - Ivan & Kelly Actual Wedding Day

Ivan is a chef and they both owned a shop in sunwaymas. Ivan is a very sound person who knows what he wanted, he is a Singaporean who does not want to live in singapore. Bravo Ivan! You have made the right choice, lol. When I reach Kelly's house that day, I was shocked to see 3 makeup artist doing her hair together, this is amazing, but I found that the make up were a little heavy, thus I switched some angles and change the way I capture her so that her eyes will not look very awkward. I still remember that Ivan was late for 2 hrs lol we all were wondering but finally saw him and his hang of chefs arrived to crash the gate. It was very funny indeed, the wedding was held on Monday, if you curious why, because I get to know that people that does pork business rest on Monday. It was a wonderful wedding. Seen a lot of unique stuffs. :D

Love for Time . Time for Love - Sunset Pre-Wedding

Wilson and Jacqie had their prewedding in sepang gold coast, it was a very fun session. Wilson does all the talking and Jacqie allow Wilson to make the decision, nowadays I found that males are having higher expectations on pictures than female, lol this is getting pretty funny. Love jacqie's voice, she can sound like a 12 year old kid on the phone, she owns a flower shop in damansara, from her business I can understanding that she has an equally high expectations on my pictures as well. Love the shots that I have managed to capture that day, but I can't disclose Wilson's face because he asked me not to show pictures of his face hehe... Waiting desperately for their actual wedding day!

Ruemz Hotel Commercial - Stage 2

It is nice to receive commercial assignments once in a while, and this day I am covering the stage 2 of Ruemz Hotel. In between both stages I realized that Ruemz managements had also changed a lot and it might deviated from their original theme, which is want to show that this hotel is alive and young. However, I love this idea and proceed to continue with the theme, and here are some of the pictures that I have delivered. Commercial assignment are a little unique, where they put me in an empty space, and I have to shoot something to make it look not only nice but also matches their brand.
I have very high expectations for my commercial assignments, where I do not want to be the person who deliver pictures and go home, before the assignment my goal is very certain, where I will ask how can I enhance their brand. I studied the Ruemz brand from top to bottom, get to know people around and understand their nature of the shoot, and I propose my vision that could enhances their brand.
There has been many discussion from Ruemz where they wanted to invite me to display my pictures on the hallway, coffee house and etc. we made up the costing but this is still pending due to management change.

A Combined Ceremony - Choi & Christine Actual Wedding Day

Choi and Christine is no stranger to me as I have covered their pre wedding session before this and this time finally I am covering their actual wedding day! Both of them are retriever lovers and I couldn't help myself not to include their lovely retrievers in their sideshow. It may seem to be a simple wedding reception where everyone had their tea ceremony in one place, but then I tried to make it alive and unique. Love every shots that I snap that day.

Song of Adoration - Kenny and Natalie Pre-Wedding

I am always happy to have photographers to engage my services, which also means that they see what I have to offer to them and they really love my work. Kenny and Natalie are my youngest couple thus far, Kenny always love to have Natalie as his model, when I met Kenny he told me that he love to have nature and sunset pictures taken, it took us a while to finalize the location and we picked our session in Port Dickson. We have a long discussion for searching for the right gown as there are simply not enough good gowns back in his hometown. Then I urged them to come over KL to visit Pretty In White and right away they have found a gown they liked. Haha that was easy.
I had a long thought about how to make Kenny and Natalie pictures more lasting, since they are young in age I am sure there are many things and obstacles they will be facing in the future. Therefore I made their album a little more mature, they might not realized that I made them look 10 years older, a more matured gown session, whereas the casual session we did all sorts of funny poses and young and alive session. Really love the sunset shoots that captured during that day where the leaves were filled with raindrops because the sunset happened right after the rain had stopped. So divine and surreal. They told me that the pictures look like in somewhere else, then I commented, it's Perth lol.

The Treasure of Time - Afdal & Elaine Pre-Wedding

Afdal and Elaine have walked through many years together since school time and now they have decided to tie the knot. ^^ Thanks for everything. When I met Afdal and Elaine and found out that they actually met each other since high school, I figured that in present time it is hard to find couples that have similar traits. We decided to use KLPAC as the location for their pre-wedding. Together with the old architectures, it is best metaphor a relationship that based on a very deep understanding, which in other way, a treasure that many strive to have. The only thing for Malay pre-wedding is no kisses is allowed. hehe....

There is one day my friend came to me and ask why I never consider starting up a voting competition, since we have seen others that does for baby photos and personal photo. My eyes began to shine and yes why not! I realize that there are many things to be educated from voting contest such as sharing love stories, let other young people to know that there is always a positive things out there, and it is not so harmful that I be giving a free session each year though just have fun and make people happy. I am so glad that I got all kinds of support from everywhere to make this session successful. At first I thought I can only attract around 10 couples but in the end we stopped with 60 couples, whoever got the highest vote will win a free couple portrait session worth RM1800. Congratulation to Khang and Esther for winning the highest vote. We get wishes from Yu Heng one of the very popular singer in malaysia, Eye Do Makeup for sponsoring her make up and hair do session for Esther, a flower bouquet from Flower World, and Happy Fish Production for sponsoring themselves to make this session more a lively, and Musse Boutique who sponsored Esther's dress. Also supported by Khang and Esther's friends! We had a lot of fun during the session, and I hope the theme Labor of Love well suite the concept. :) something different. Thank you everyone for your kind support, its my pleasure to have you all.

A Day To Remember - Brian & Cindy Actual Reception

Spoke to Cindy through Facebook and was so happy to know another sweet bride lol. We had gone through a long story together and Cindy made a schedule adjustment by moving her wedding forward due to certain health reason of her aunt. Initially the date was clashed and I was so touched that they readjusted their wedding day to fit with my available schedule. It was a little uneasy for me as well. I still remember that I caught a flu during her big day and was suffering in high fever a day before her wedding. Well I did manage to cover her wedding even from sickness but it was a tired day in singapore. Love her smile and Brian was very nice to me. We had a short session after her morning reception in a colonial building in Santosa.
